IELTS writing task 1 Vocabulary:
Before learning vocabulary for IELTS writing task 1 it is essential to learn the correct sentence structure to use in the IELTS writing task 1.
Only two types of word combinations can be used in the time graphs.
- The adjective-noun =
There + be + adj. + noun + in + noun phrase
For example: There was a slight increase in the price
of fuel
- The verb adverb = Noun phrase + verb + adverb
For example: The percentage of the population in India
increased significantly in the last 3
years.

4. From March to July, there was a minimal surge in the usage of smartphones.
5. The proportion of the school going adults escalated significantly over
the period of 10 years.
